Jill Wagner plays the character of Sarah Bloom, a talented wedding planner based in Los Angeles. She gets an opportunity to fly back to her hometown in Indiana where her sister is getting married. The wedding is to be held at a rustic apple orchard owned by the Hopkins family. Upon her arrival, she meets the younger brother of the groom, David Hopkins, played by Victor Webster.

David has returned home to help his family with the harvest season after quitting his job as a lawyer, and Sarah is impressed by his hardworking nature. However, she is caught off guard when David reveals that he actually owns the orchard, having inherited it from his grandfather. Sarah's job is to plan the wedding in just three short weeks, and she finds herself working closely with David as they plan the perfect celebration for his brother and new sister-in-law.

As they work together, Sarah and David start to notice an undeniable chemistry between them. But Sarah is hesitant to pursue anything further because she knows she will have to return to Los Angeles after the wedding. David, on the other hand, is content living in his hometown and is not thrilled about the idea of a long-distance relationship.

As the wedding approaches, Sarah and David continue to work together and grow closer, causing tension between Sarah and her sister who feels neglected amidst all the wedding planning. But when unexpected plans threaten the wedding, Sarah and David must work together to save the day and ensure a perfect celebration.
