A Night to is a 1958 British drama film about the sinking of the RMS Titanic. The movie was directed by Roy Ward Baker and stars Kenneth More, Ronald Allen, and Robert Ayres. It is based on the book of the same name by Walter Lord and is considered to be one of the most accurate and realistic portrayals of the disaster. The film takes the audience through the entire voyage of the Titanic, from its departure to its tragic end. The characters are introduced in a way that makes the audience care about them, and the attention to detail is impressive. The interior of the ship was recreated with great accuracy and detail, from the grand staircase to the dining rooms and cabins.

The main character is Second Officer Charles Lightoller, played by Kenneth More. Lightoller is portrayed as a competent and capable officer who takes his job very seriously. Other notable characters include the ship's captain, E.J. Smith, and J. Bruce Ismay, the managing director of the White Star Line.

As the ship makes its way across the Atlantic, we begin to see the various engers and crew going about their daily activities. Some are enjoying the luxurious amenities of the ship, while others are hard at work. The engers come from a variety of backgrounds, from wealthy industrialists to working-class families and immigrants seeking a better life in America.

As the night of the disaster approaches, tension begins to build. The officers on the bridge are on high alert, keeping a lookout for icebergs. When the Titanic finally strikes an iceberg, chaos ensues. The crew struggles to keep order as the engers begin to panic. The lifeboats are lowered, but there are not enough of them for everyone on board.

The filmmakers do an excellent job of recreating the sinking of the ship, with all of its terrifying moments. The ship breaking apart and sinking into the ocean is simply awe-inspiring. The final scenes show the survivors being rescued by the RMS Carpathia, and the fate of many of the characters is revealed.

Overall, A Night to is a gripping and emotional portrayal of the Titanic disaster. The film is a testament to the bravery and heroism of the crew and engers who lost their lives that night, as well as the many who survived. It is a must-see for anyone who is interested in the story of the Titanic or in historical dramas in general.
