Watch Dead or Alive

"Dead or Alive" is an R-rated Japanese action film from 1999 that prominently features yakuza crime syndicates, perverse actions, and over-the-top levels of violence. While ex-yakuza member Ryuichi's small Triad gang is attempting to gain dominance within Shinjuku's criminal underworld, Det. Jojima is seeking to stop the Triad's influence and bring its thugs to justice. This results in a war between Triads and the Shinjuku yakuza, with Ryuichi and Jojima coming to a fateful series of skirmishes.

"Dead or Alive" is the first film in a disconnected trilogy that includes "Dead or Alive 2: Birds" and "Dead or Alive: Final."
