Watch Devil's Island

This is a dramatic movie with a comedy twist to it. It is the story of families living in Army barracks. Reykjavic, Iceland was used by both the American and British forces as a base for their operations during World War II. When the war was over, both of these countries left their barracks buildings in place. It was less expensive to abandon them than it was to break them down, and transport them back to their respective countries.

Once the buildings were abandoned, families began using them as homes. These families were displaced by the war and poverty. This is the story of those times.
