This Hong Kong drama is based on the novel by Louis Cha. Its storyline is based on an historical legend that beyond the edge of the Earth exists a magical place inhabited by a man with a broken heart who possesses extraordinary powers. He has been abandoned by family and friends and has no one to inherit his special chi power. This situation inspires a battle among outsiders with evil intentions to take possession of the old man's unique force.
