Watch Hey Babe!

This is a musical drama about an orphan. She is 12-years-old and has already chosen her career. She wants to become a star. Theresa O'Brien has no parents and lives in an orphanage. She knows she wants to be an actress. Her best route to this is to go to a school for the performing arts. She has no money or resources, and the orphanage will not help her.

Constantly in trouble for breaking the rules, she skips out one day for an adventure. She meets an alcoholic man who had a vaudeville career. He may be washed up, but he still knows talent when he sees it.
