Watch Hunger

Hunger is a dark and unnerving movie about how and when people gradually lose their humanity. It plays a giant mind game with movie viewers as it explores the grand question of how far people would go to stay alive. In the film, five strangers awake in a dark underground labyrinth. They all have no idea how they got there and initially try in every which way to stay alive while staying true to their principles. A scientist with a mysterious past is watching them the whole time and observes along with the audience what happens when death seems imminent without the breaking of a major societal taboo.

The strangers are told by a voice that they really can't survive for more than 30 days without food and it becomes clear that they will have to figure out if they're willing to even eat a person to stay alive. The five characters are representative of everyday people in the world and they all come with different attitudes on the importance of morality and the importance of survival.

This movie allows viewers to peer into a sadistic experiment that pits people against their own hunger. How long will it take and how desperate will people have to be to break cardinal rules of morality?
