A man and his wife are happily married and look forward to their first child. They want to move to the United States, so the man's friend helps them work on their English language skills. The best friend grows closer to the couple and takes on greater responsibility after the birth of their child. A tragic accident puts the best friend in jeopardy, but his future is altered forever by the actions of the father after this unfortunate event.
