Watch The Corpse Vanishes

The great Bela Lugosi plays Dr. Lorenz, a mad scientist and poisonous-orchid grower who's on a personal mission. Aided by a crone, a malevolent dwarf and a dimwitted brute, Lorenz kills virgin brides at their weddings and steals their bodies. In his creepy basement laboratory, he extracts their spinal fluid to inject into his own wife, so as to keep her looking young. Everything runs smoothly for Lorenz and the aging Countess--the cops don't have a clue--until a nosy journalist gets involved. She and a suspicious doctor try to get to the bottom of the mystery of the disappearing dames.
