Watch The Scarlet Letter

The Scarlet Letter is a tale of a Puritan woman who is branded an adulterer. She is given the Scarlet Letter A on her clothing, and she has to bear that shame. This shame has a major effect on her life, and you see how someone can sink deep into depression after just one mistake. This film and the book it is based on are commentaries on the way that we treat people who do things that are wrong in our eyes. You will notice that not all is as it seems even in a clear cut case of adultery.
