Zatoichi: The Blind Swordsman: Zatoichi's Flashing Sword is the seventh entry in the epic story of the legendary sword fighter. Zatoichi is living a peaceful life, but he is still known in the area as a deadly warrior. While Zatoichi is walking, he is shot in the back by a young gang member. Zatoichi falls to the ground, and he is critically injured. A young woman rescues Zatoichi, and she takes him to her home. Zatoichi recovers from the gunshot wound, and he tries to repay the woman by working in her home. Zatoichi soon discovers that dangerous gangs patrol the area.
