Mike and Denese jump into their next project for a couple who bought their home sight unseen. The house is charming at first glance, but there's an alarming electrical issue, and living in it reveals some huge downsides.

Mike and Denese are back for Round 2 of the craziest Frankenhouse ever! After untangling the first floor, their next challenge is the upstairs which has a maze of hodge-podge bedrooms, a shower-closet and the tiniest blue tub to ever exist.

Working with a homeowner who's taken DIY to the next franken-level, Mike and Denese course-correct a home where the closets have taken over.

Mike and Denese strive to fix a house whose additions gained lots of space, but little function. And if a nervous client with a Thanksgiving deadline weren't enough, Denese decides to take on updating their design studio at the same time.

This is the ultimate Frankenhouse, where a 20th century addition is stitched onto a 1700s farmhouse. Mike and Denese Butler are challenged to help marry the two sides of this split personality home.

In the season premiere, cameras will follow the couple as they grapple with Mike's decision to leave his corporate job and commit full-time to their growing home renovation and design business. While they consider, Mike and Denese will tour their next project, a 1970s "Frankenhouse" with wasted spaces, mismatched kitchen cabinets and a dangerous spiral staircase. The duo's design vision will maximize the main level floorplan, creating a dream kitchen with a unique island and dining table combo and a kids' drop zone with tons of storage. In addition, Mike and Denese's dads, master carpenters John Butler and Peter Doyle, will offer their expertise and build one-of-a-kind pieces for the renovations, such as a barn door, built-in cabinetry and repurposed furniture.
