This year's Fox series lineup adds 18 new shows. With a large group of shows getting cancelled, ("X-Factor", "Dads", "Rake", etc) Fox was able to add a decent number of new shows ("Mulaney", "Backstorm", "Empire", etc) while also rescheduling some of their most popular shows, into a new line up. 3y415c

"Glee's" last season is getting saved for sometime in 2015, while "Bones" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" are getting moved to make room for the new shows. "Gotham" which is marketed as a prequel to "Batman", kick starts the line up on Monday night. "Gotham" is followed by other new shows including "Utopia", "Red Band Society" and "Gracepoint."

"American Idol" is coming back for its 14th season, although some changes may be made. Fox is trying to combat its low ratings by running it only once a week and cutting down elimination's to half an hour. Fox is also launching its first ever event series, along with new digital initiatives.
