Humanity drove itself into extinction ages ago when a mining operation at the Earth's core failed, causing massive damage to the planet. Service robots left by humanity try to eke out a new civilization, but killer robots developed by the mining corporation that caused the extinction event, following their programming to kill any rogue robots not following company protocols, massacre hundreds of service robots everyday. The story begins when a service bot finds an abandoned killer robot, who she plans to use to protect the service drone civilization.

With a large chunk of the planet now just debris floating in space, Uzi rallies herself, N, and a still-living V to return to what's left of Copper 9 to kill Cyn for good.

Reeling from the loss of V, the remaining trio of Uzi, N, and Tessa scatter in the underground tunnels. Uzi deals with her worsening corruption, while N meets the disembodied remains of Uzi's mother Nori, who instructs him how to find a USB that can cure the Absolute Solver from a possessed drone. N and Uzi battle each other when Uzi succumbs to the Absolute Solver, but N manages to snap Uzi out of it by revealing he has a crush on her. Tragically, it is too late for Doll who is killed by Tessa shortly before revealing herself to be Cyn in disguise. With her full powers revealed, Cyn, attacks N and Uzi, who repays N's actions earlier by throwing him to safety just before the planet's core explodes.

Teaming up with Tessa and J, the main trio delve into an abandoned laboratory site where they are beset upon by metal dinosaurs, cannibalistic drones, and a creepy baby. Enduring her cruel torturing, Uzi breaks free but is forced to rely on the power of the Absolute Solver, which rapidly accelerates her corruption. Meanwhile, Tessa reveals to N the true nature of the Absolute Solver, and how its possession of a drone can only lead to the destruction of the entire planet: just like what happened to earth.

Set in an extended flashback, N explores his past as a normal worker drone serving a family on earth. However, it's quickly revealed that the experience was anything except ordinary, as an eerie drone named Cyn displays more and more dangerous behaviors. Meanwhile, Uzi battles Doll over one of the clues she found, but is forced to surrender it in order to protect the comatose bodies of N and V.

To gather more information about the conspiracy of Copper 9, Uzi travels to an abandoned summer camp with ties to her mother. Unfortunately, a whole bunch of her classmates accidentally tag along, forcing N and V to play chaperone for them. The investigation is halted, however, when Uzi begins developing a craving for oil like the disassembly drones do, and has to fight her new murderous urges, as well as her friends.

A psychic teenager named Doll begins murdering her classmates as part of an elaborate trap to avenge her parents and kill V. In order to stop her, Uzi and N don their dapper outfits and attend the high school prom, where Uzi develops similar psychic powers to Doll and turns the tables on her. As Doll barely escapes, she leaves behind clues that reveal the nature of the drones and Copper 9 is much deeper - and darker - than anyone had anticipated.

Uzi and N return to the colony to investigate a series of gruesome murders. They eventually find that the culprit is a horrifically mutated corpse of J being piloted by a sentient heart. Unnerved at the otherworldy nature of the disassembly drones, Uzi shuns N. Meanwhile, Khan attends a parent teacher conference and feels guilt about rashly exiling his daughter.

In order to rebel/impress her dad, rebellious teenage worker drone, Uzi Doorman, leaves her colony in the middle of the night searching for a battery to power a new invention of hers. She finds it just in time to use her new weapon to blow the head off of disassembly drone N who had been hunting her through the wastes. Being a disassembly drone however, N reforms his head, albeit with amnesia that prevents him from identifying Uzi as his natural prey. With nothing else to do, the two talk and realize their peoples aren't so different. Uzi escapes the murder drone lair just in time to evade the return of N's coworkers: J and V, who persuade him to hunt down Uzi regardless of friendship. Uzi returns to warn her colony about the impending attack, but the disassembly drone crew beat her there, slaughtering several inhabitants. Uzi and N reconcile their issues and team up to kill J and imprison V. Although the colony is saved, Uzi is exiled by her father for inadvertently causing the destru
