The L Word: Generation Q is a Showtime series that is a continuation of the 2004-2009 show, The L Word. This new iteration features several of the original cast , including Jennifer Beals, Katherine Moennig, and Leisha Hailey, as well as introducing new characters and storylines.

Set in contemporary Los Angeles, the show follows a diverse group of friends and lovers as they navigate their careers, relationships, and personal struggles. This includes Bette Porter (Beals), who is now running for mayor of Los Angeles; Shane McCutcheon (Moennig), who owns a trendy hair salon; and Alice Pieszecki (Hailey), who hosts a talk show focused on LGBTQ+ issues.
