The Politician's Wife is a British television drama that premiered on Channel 4 in 1995. The three-part series is set in the world of British politics and follows the story of Flora Matlock, the wife of a rising politician, Duncan Matlock. Flora, played by Juliet Stevenson, is a devoted wife and mother to her two children. She has always ed her husband's political career and has always been content to stay in the shadows, preferring to let Duncan take center stage. However, Flora's world is turned upside down when she discovers that Duncan has been having an affair with a young woman in his office.

At first, Flora is devastated by the betrayal and struggles to come to with what has happened. However, she soon realizes that she has a powerful weapon at her disposal
